To find journal articles try using the following databases using the advance search feature. If you find a large number of results, try narrowing your results using Boolean operators (AND, NOT and OR). AND allows you to add additional keywords and will return results containing both the designated words. NOT allows you to exclude words from the search that are irrelevant and OR allows you to use alternate terms and the results will include both words even if they do not both appear in the same article.

Once you have found a scholarly article that is of interest, you can find other, more recent articles that cite your article by going to Google Scholar and performing a cited reference search. Put the name of your article in the search bar and then see the "Cited by" below the results.
Semantic Scholar is a newer tool that allows you to see the papers that cite the one you drop in as well as a list of the references used and related papers. Semantic Scholar can also keep a watch out for other scholarly research on that topic in your research feed.
